Content Analyst

What This Role Is About
Poki is a multi-sided platform where players, game developers, and advertisers all come together. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, your focus will be on the performance of games on our platform, especially our top-performing titles and the next wave of potential hits.
You’ll work with large-scale behavioral and monetization data to:
- Optimize the value generated by our most important games
- Help our team and game developers make better decisions based on data
- Identify early signals that point to future breakout successes
- Spot gaps and opportunities in our game offering
Your insights will directly influence how games evolve on Poki, how we monetize responsibly, and how we scale the value of our content catalogue sustainably.
Your challenges at Poki
- Identify and define hit signals. Explore player behavior, engagement patterns, and early performance indicators to determine which signals best predict long-term success, and turn those into actionable metrics.
- Help the teams who engage with game developers to source high potential games and to prioritize our efforts in boosting he performance of our current portfolio.
- Find ways to improve the value we deliver to our players on the playground. Help to improve the discoverability of games by evaluating common patterns and understanding how we can make the experience better.
- Optimize monetization for our top games. Analyze monetization performance at a deep level and identify smart, player-friendly ways to increase value through ad timing, placement, and frequency.
You Could Be Our Business Intelligence Analyst If
- You’re a critical thinker, and have 4+ years experience as an analyst
- You’re business savvy, and eager to optimize for performance
- You’re curious to understand the complex dynamics of a multi-sided platform (balancing the needs of players, game developers, and advertisers).
- You have strong experience with structuring data with SQL (BigQuery, Snowflake or similar products).
- You have experience with data visualization (Lookerstudio, Tableau or similar products).
- You have affinity with games.
- You are based in The Netherlands, and able to work on-site regularly at our office in Amsterdam.
