For The Walt Disney Company we are looking for a parttime Supply Planner [24/32 hrs]. In this (pretty exciting) role you ensure the on-time delivery of key assets based on factory and distribution lead times. You assist the Senior Manager Planning New Release in all tasks related to date and capacity tracking and supports accurate master data maintenance and the execution of Blu-ray and DVD Purchase orders and their on-time delivery.

Major accountabilities / areas of responsibilities;

1. Quality management of (European) planning and date tracking

  • Monitors the delivery of key assets and prepares the necessary documentation
  • Identifies date conflict or risks of delays, and ensures necessary escalation for resolution
  • Participates in the workability reviews and updates the relevant files with the agreed data
  • Works with the relevant parties to ensure the update of systems/files with the agreed data
  • Regularly runs alignment reports and provides background data to resolve discrepancies
  • Develops relationships with the different internal and external stakeholders, supporting and ensuring communication flow is maintained in an accurate and timely manner
  • Provides support to Global Operations, Creative Services, Regional Marketing teams as well as Local Operations teams, all based in different countries
  • Participates in the development and maintenance of tracking tools
  • Liaises with the Creative partner and replicators whenever necessary
  • Works closely with other members of the team with regards to master data and procurement

2. Support in the preparation of the long term capacity plans for replicators

  • Contributes to the preparation of the rolling capacity load plans for manufacturing and distribution using a mix of local demand, historical and finance data
  • Assists in the maintenance of a rolling up to date version, and use past experience to improve on the accuracy of the plan

3. Performing other activities (related to the job)

  • Supports the Senior Manager Planning New Release
  • Promotes the use of demand and supply planning tools and supports any development
  • Participates in project groups, suggest ways to improve or optimise supply chain processes
  • Ensures execution of all other tasks and activities related to the job
  • Generates and delivers simplified reporting and performs analysis
  • Provides support in the areas of reporting, master data and procurement

Who are you?

  • You have an understanding of supply chain planning processes
  • You have experience in Supply Chain Planning or other Planning roles, preferably in an FMCG environment
  • You have the ability to make efficient use of current application suite (Advanced level of Microsoft tools, knowledge of demand and supply planning tools)
  • You speak fluent English a must. Dutch, French, German, Italian, Spanish or Swedish desirable but not required
  • You are accurate and have a strong attention to detail
  • You are numerical and have analytical skills
  • You are highly organised and are able to prioritise workloads
  • You are an highly effective communicator with interpersonal skills
  • You are flexible but able to work well under pressure, often with several issues occurring at one time
